Hi, users, I found FREE Photoshop alternative called Fotographix. Seems really good, and sounds like it loads fast. Free, I think is the best thing.

From the site-
Fotografix is an amazing example of what creative developers can accomplish in less than one meg. The 680Kb portable application is a very capable image editor and provides nearly all the same functionality I utilize in Photoshop on a daily basis. It was a no-brainer to include in my list of 40 apps you can download in two seconds.
Hi guys

I saw the other thread and wondered about online storage too - what do you think is best? Is Flickr safe because Yahoo is in trouble?

So who has what? And how happy are you with it?

Personally I'm using my Pentax K100D DSLR, and occasionally a small Canon SD Powershot for those "can't bring the big one" events. Both do their jobs very well - though I am looking into newer DSLRs for slightly better autofocus capabilities, etc.

I am also using my blackberry camera a surprising amount.

There's no question that I take more photos now with a digital camera than I ever did with film -- plus, camera resolutions are steadily increasing file sizes for each photo. I remember when my first 2 Megapixel digital camera took pictures at 500K max, and that was a huge file. Now, my Canon Rebel is pushing 2 megabits each photo. I've resorted to a couple external hard drives to store the high res originals and use Kodak Gallery to share with friends. What other methods are people using?
