You need to work with your trading partner and let them know what you want to do.&#60;br /&#62;
Baiscally, you only want one file in the directory you are going to download from. You can then use a wildcard character(s)in place of the date in the file name in your ftp script. Your trading partner needs to copy, move or delete the file in the directory you download from before they place the new file out there for you.&#60;br /&#62;
Some ftp servers do not allow the use of wildcard characters, I believe it is an attribute of ftp that can be set by the network administrator. Hope this helps.
