Hello,

You may be able to set up an "event" on your ftp server to do this. For example, in WS_FTP Server, you can fire an event that runs an executable program, such as WS_FTP Professional, to transfer a file after it hits a directory. You can also use a file transfer automation application that watches the local filesystem behind the FTP system, such as MOVEit Central, to catch files that come through and send them to their final destination.

Regards,

Hi,
We have a ftp server implemented. We need to receive lots of files from number of business. In order to do that we have created a number of folders. Now,if we want to move received(uploaded) files, we have to watch number of locations. Is there any feature in ftp so that we can configure a folder in order to move the received(uploaded) file to another directory(location) instead of using another application which keeps on polling lots of location.

Thanks in advance.
