I am using WS_FTP home 12 as my FTP client, and my OS is Windows XP sp3 and I use the Firefox browser. I have been using the WS_FTP software since 2004. It usually works fine, but sometimes it fails to auto reconnect to the last remote folder when I open the program. It may display a citation that "the current directory is". This makes it necessary for me to go through several steps that require several minutes to get the program to download the desired folder. I don't encounter this problem all of the time, but when I do it is a big nuisance. I have cited the control to have the program "auto reconnect to last Local and Remote folders", but sometimes it doesn't display the last Remote folder. What could be causing this problem? What can I do to correct it or eliminate it when it does happen?

The program seems to be working correctly most of the time, so I guess that I shouldn't be concerned if once in a while it doesn't reconnect to the last directory that was displayed on the remote. Apparently it isn't a common problem, and no one seems to know what could cause it, even infrequently. I guess that there is no fix for this glitch.

Do you think that to use the WS_FTP home 12 as my FTP client is appropriate. I think its not going to work and not up to the mark.
