   In WS_FTP Professional, there are a number of different ways to transfer a file:
   1. Highlight the file you'd like to transfer and then click one of the transfer arrows located between the two window panes.

   2. Highlight the file without releasing the mouse button and then 'Drag-and-drop' the file from one pane to another.

   3. Highlight the file from an Explorer Window or your Desktop and 'Drag-and-drop' it to the Remote System pane.

   4. Within WS_FTP, simply double-click on the file you'd like to transfer (note: you can customize the 'Double-Click Action' to view a file rather than transferring it -- see 'Options', 'Advanced' to adjust this setting).

   all good points, I also like the "HotDrop option" (my prefered method) and the "right click, Upload using WS_FTP Upload Wizard" (my second favorite option)...

   I am using WS FTP 2007 and am not sure if these are still available in the newer
   WS FTP 12....
