    Our client is sending us a 1.6GB file and it is taking 10 hours to transmit. They have a 16mb pipe, we have a 3mb pipe. Of course, over half this time we are receiving additional files. We want to reduce this time. Before we invest in upgrading our bandwidth, I would like to make sure this is the only bottleneck. I do not want to upgrade bandwidth only to find out that the transfer rate will be the same... Any suggestions?
