   That's my forum. I need the FTP for it because I'm switching hosts. But i don't know how to get the FTP!!!!!!!!!

   And I can't ask my host because the support forum's been down for months...

   Well there are many free FTP Clients out on the http://WWW...just do a search and you will find them...or if you want to pay for one there are many out there also...
   your choice....the one most posters here use is the WS-FTP which you can find here

   Okay I downloaded the program. But how do I use it to find the FTP username and password of my site?

   The FTP client program connects to an FTP site or FTP server where your files will be stored. You need to contact the hosting provider that is storing the files for the username and password. Once you have the username and password, your FTP client should make a successful connection and you can begin the file transfer.
