  1. Good Day. I uploaded a site using wise-ftp and I must have sent it to the wrong root file (if that's what it's called) The top icon is a file with a / beside it, just below that is a file called logs, below that a file named maildir (I'm assuming this is mail redirect) and below that a file called misb.ca (the name of my website)

I uploaded my website file containing html pages and images file to the misb.ca folder and everything went kafluey. Should the index.html page be uploaded to a separate file?

Man, I thought I was befuddled before...

Thanks so much for your time.

    hi barry,

can i ask did you upload a whole folder to /misb.ca ? so like /misb.ca/foldername/ ?

what you can do is browse to that folder in your web browser and i bet your site will be there

but to answer your question yse you probably want the files right in the "websiteroot" which is /misb.ca/ - but you might want tot be careful not to overwrite anything ya know?

you should contact your "host" and ask which folder you need to upload too....
because many hosts require you to upload to a specific folder, it could be the root directory or a folder inside that root....
