   Hello all hope you can help me.

   Basically I've had my website designed by a website company and now I want to edit the pages and add some text/images to the pages already created.

   Now apparently because it isn't a content managed site I have to FTP.

   I'm not completely computer illiterate but I'm a bit lost as to what I need to do

   I presume I need an FTP client/software ?

   How do I actually edit the pages already created by the web company ? This would be my main concern.

   What format do I upload new pages ? Do i need to download some design software and upload them as a html document ?

   Is my first step to get a username and password from the web design company ?

   Any help would be greatly appreciated!

   To edit your page you are going to need an HTML editing program (CoffeCup for example). You will need a FTP client to update the files back to the website company's FTP server if they are the ones hosting the site (see online store). The web design company should provide the FTP Server username and password. Hope this helped!!!
